Woman, dog rescued from Tempe fire A Tempe woman was rescued after being trapped inside her burning apartment while attempting to save her dog Tuesday afternoon.
A first-alarm fire broke out at the Country Club Apartments near Holbrook Lane and Broadway Road around 3:15 p.m., according to Tempe Fire spokesperson Mike Reichling.
