2 people critically injured after horse-drawn stagecoach hits vehicles at rodeo


Two people were critically injured at the Lost Dutchman Days Rodeo in Apache Junction when a horse-drawn stagecoach hit multiple vehicles on Saturday, officials said.
Those injured were taken to a nearby hospital in "serious condition" following the incident, the Superstition Fire and Medical District said in a tweet just before 4:45 p.m.
The horses were walked from the scene to be evaluated by their owners, the tweet said.
According to the rodeo website, the three-day event began on Friday and was slated to last through Sunday.
