Democratic donors in Texas outspent Republicans in Alabama
AUSTIN -- One of the biggest upsets in recent political history came at least partially thanks to Texans and their wallets.
Texas donors ended up giving nearly $1 million to Alabama Democrat Doug Jones, who narrowly defeated Republican Roy Moore in one of the most contentious special elections in the nation late last year.
