'Gatsby' soundtrack to feature Jay-Z, Lana del Rey, The xx and more
Jay-Z has long called himself the new Sinatra, but now he might be on a Fitzgerald-identifying kick as well.
The rapper-mogul is executive-producing Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of the classic novel of class-strivers and myth-making, and fans wondered how his musical sensibilities would inform the film. On Thursday, Interscope Records released the track list for the film's official soundtrack, and it's a mix of top-shelf indie, regal hip-hop and neo-jazz interludes.
