Injured ASU women's basketball guard Sabrina Haines: 'I appreciate walking'


Arizona State women's basketball has been without its most experienced guard since early December.
Junior Sabrina Haines, who started all but one game last season, suffered an ACL tear and other injuries in her right knee on Dec. 3. She had surgery Dec. 14 and now is more than a month into her rehabilitation.
No. 25 ASU has other talented guards, but Haines' absence shows in various ways including her 3-point and free-throw shooting as well as her vocal leadership.
