Mayor Turner joins 'sanctuary city' protesters outside Houston City Hall
Mayor Sylvester Turner joined a rally outside City Hall on Wednesday protesting this week's federal appeals court decision that allows Texas to enforce most provisions of its so-called sanctuary cities ban.
A three-judge panel of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday cleared the way for Texas to begin enforcing the controversial law, Senate Bill 4, which a federal judge in San Antonio had blocked temporarily.
