Miami Hurricanes fall to Bethune-Cookman


If their recent play is any indication, the Miami Hurricanes' baseball team is headed for trouble this weekend.
The Canes opened a five-game homestand by losing 5-3 to Bethune-Cookman on Wednesday. The Canes have now lost five of their past six games.
It was Miami's first loss to the Wildcats since 2009, snapping a string of five consecutive wins. It also marked the second week in a row that Miami (20-12) has lost a mid-week game to a state school. Last week, Miami lost 6-1 to FAU.
