CLOSE The Phoenix Mercury's Diana Taurasi has reached many milestones in her college, WNBA and Olympics career.
Diana Taurasi went to her right and got past L.A.'s Nneka Ogwumike, a two-time all-defensive first teamer and reigning WNBA MVP. Taurasi's teammates call her “legend” and “G.O.A.T.,” and finally she was two steps from becoming the league's all-time leading scorer.
The lane was open, but to keep from getting swatted from behind by the rangy Ogwumike, Taurasi took a slow Euro step to her left and finished with a right-handed finger roll.
