PREP BASEBALL: Bats come alive for Cullman in 13-2 area win over East Limestone


CULLMAN - Brent Patterson had a feeling his Cullman baseball squad was long overdue for a big offensive game sooner rather than later.
On Tuesday, that's exactly what the Bearcat coach received.
The Class 5A No. 3 Black and Gold (15-7) garnered at least two runs in every inning, collected 12 hits and whooped area-rival East Limestone 13-2 in Game 1 of a doubleheader at Bill Shelton Field.
