Saguaro DB Kelee Ringo gets ASU offer in start of Herm Edwards era


Scottsdale Saguaro sophomore cornerback Kelee Ringo might be the first in-state player to be offered to start the Herm Edwards coaching era at Arizona State.
While Edwards still is finishing up his final week working as an analyst for ESPN, ASU recruiting coordinator Donnie Yantis stopped by Saguaro on Wednesday to extend the offer to Ringo, Sabercats coach Jason Mohns said.
Mohns said he believes it was recently promoted associate head coach Billy Napier's call on offering Ringo.
