SARASOTA, Fla. — If you tried to trace your way back to the beginning of the end to the Red Sox’ dismal 2015 season, you could start with the look of shock, hurt and concern etched on the face of Christian Vazquez nearly a year ago.
And the road to a better 2016 may have begun with Vazquez yesterday.
