Winslow rolls to 3A boys basketball title with lift from large Navajo Nation crowd

They came early, many in the large Navajo Nation crowd waiting hours to fill most of the Gila River Arena lower bowl to watch Winslow and its "rez ball," run-and-gun style.
With top-seeded Lakeside Blue Ridge staggering early, Winslow forward Ricardo Villanueva, who was held scoreless in the first quarter, delivered the knockout punch.
